2. The Museum of Cambridge

This independent museum may be a little smaller than the more popular University Museums but its size offers a digestible, interesting take on local history. Enjoy permanent exhibits and a range of family-friendly activities at the Museum of Cambridge, including their fun-filled busy boxes, traditional games and themed trails.

The museum hosts ‘Fab Family Fridays’ on most Fridays, which is perfect for under 5s. Children aged 12 and under also go free from Thursday to Sunday.
